Cat Neshyba

Cat writes. They write science fiction, flash fiction, romance, and the occasional erotica. They write personal essays, combining ideas on stress, relationships, queer theory, and trans theory.

In each piece, Cat tries to wrap their head around the world, seeing connections that may or may not be there, and communicate those relationships out to the world.

At the heart of Cat’s writing is a persistent curiosity.

Cat's recent works include Forest Grew and Lava. Their essays are available on their Substack.

Cat Neshyba

He recognizes that he doesn’t have ownership even of his own eyes; he doesn’t identify with humans, and he doesn’t have a desire to convince them that he is one of them. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want respect, or that he doesn’t think he deserves to live—much the opposite.
